Delivery & Pickup
Pickup Availability
Niolia currently operates on a delivery-only basis. In-studio pickup is not available at this time, as the Niolia studio is closed to the public.
Delivery Area
We deliver throughout San Francisco and to locations within a 20-mile radius:
- San Francisco County
- San Mateo County
- Marin County
- Alameda County
- Parts of Contra Costa County
Delivery Days & Cut-Off Times
• Same-Day Delivery: Available Monday through Saturday for orders placed before 11:00 AM.
• Next-Day Delivery: Available Monday through Saturday for orders placed after 11:00 AM, or for any future day.
(The studio is closed on Sundays, and deliveries are not available on Sundays.)
• Future Scheduled Delivery: You may select any available future delivery date and time window at checkout.
Delivery Windows
At checkout, you will select one of the following two-hour delivery windows:
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Exact delivery times (for example, “3:15 PM”) cannot be guaranteed.
Because we use third-party couriers, it is important that someone is available during the selected delivery window.
Delivery Method Selection
Customers may choose one of the following delivery options:
Surprise Delivery
The arrangement is delivered on the selected date and delivery window without prior contact with the recipient.
Contact Recipient
Niolia may contact the recipient on the day of delivery to confirm availability and ensure successful delivery.
Delivery Attempts & Re-Delivery Fees
Complimentary delivery includes one delivery attempt.
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
• Recipient not being available
• Restricted access (gated buildings, locked entrances, no unit access)
• Unsafe conditions for leaving flowers unattended
the arrangement will be returned to the studio.
A $30 re-delivery fee will apply for each additional delivery attempt.
Safe Drop-Off Policy
Arrangements may be left unattended only when:
• The delivery location is a private residence
• The area appears secure and protected
Niolia does not leave flowers unattended at:
• Apartment buildings
• Shared or public entrances
• Busy or high-traffic locations
This decision is made at the driver’s discretion to protect the flowers.
Responsibility & Refunds
Delivery fees are non-refundable once a delivery attempt has been made.
Niolia is not responsible for failed deliveries due to:
• Incorrect or incomplete address information
• Recipient unavailability
• Access restrictions
Flowers are made to order and cannot be refunded due to delivery issues.
Our Recommendation
To ensure a smooth delivery experience and avoid additional fees, we strongly recommend allowing us to contact the recipient on the day of delivery.
Delivery to Businesses, Hospitals, Hotels, Apartments & Gated Communities
We deliver to all of the above locations. To ensure successful delivery, please provide complete and accurate information:
- Businesses: Include the full business name.

Hospitals: Provide the patient’s full name, wing, room number, and a reliable phone number for the patient or caregiver.
Flowers cannot be delivered to ICUs at many hospitals — please confirm hospital policies before placing an order.

Hotels: Ensure the reservation is under the recipient’s name.
If the Recipient Is Not Home
- If the location appears safe (such as a private residence), flowers may be left at the door.
- For apartments, gated communities, businesses, or locations where it is unsafe to leave flowers, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes.
If delivery cannot be completed, the flowers will be returned to the studio and a $30 redelivery fee will apply.
Extreme Weather
During periods of extreme heat, cold, or heavy rain, flowers will not be left unattended outdoors.
If no one is available to receive the delivery, the flowers will be returned to the studio and a $30 redelivery fee will apply.
Holiday Delivery (Valentine’s Day & Mother’s Day)
During holiday weeks, recipients will be contacted prior to delivery.
If there is no response, delivery will still be attempted within the selected two-hour window.
If no one is available and no safe location is accessible, the flowers will be returned to the studio and the sender will be contacted to reschedule.
Delivery Fees
- Standard delivery is complimentary.
- Redelivery fee (for unsuccessful delivery attempts): $30.
Special Instructions
Delivery notes (gate codes, concierge instructions, etc.) may be added at checkout.
If you request that flowers be left unattended, Niolia is not responsible for lost or stolen arrangements.
Delivery Approach
Our goal is always a smooth and successful delivery on the first attempt.
We carefully plan each delivery and make every reasonable effort to avoid re-delivery whenever possible. If a delivery location appears unsafe, inaccessible, or unclear, our team may pause delivery and reach out to the sender to confirm details before proceeding.
With extensive delivery experience, we prioritize the safety of the flowers and a reliable hand-off over rushed or uncertain deliveries.
Re-delivery fees are outlined as part of our policy, but are not our preference. Whenever possible, we work proactively to prevent them.
